Intern (Summer)
Application Status: All intern positions are filled for Summer 2013. The summer internship program is a full-time program, for law students, usually beginning during the last week of May and ending during the first week of August. Intern positions are unpaid. On-campus interviews are held, in the fall, at many NC law schools; NC students should first check with their career services office before sending application materials directly to us. Strong preference is given to students that will have completed 2 years of law school at the time they begin their internship with us.
Intern Application Instructions: Submit one application packet that includes your cover letter, resume, transcript (an unofficial version is acceptable), and any other materials that you wish to have considered. Address your one application packet as shown below:

Extern (Fall or Spring)
Law school students interested in an unpaid externship through their law school’s academic program during the fall or spring semesters should first contact the designated coordinator at their law school.
Externs usually work a pre-determined number of hours per week and earn academic credit through their school. Due to its close proximity, our externs are usually students of the Charlotte School of Law (CSL), but our office will consider applicants from any law school.
Extern Application Instructions:
CSL students must contact the professor in charge of externship placement; CSL students should not contact us directly or send application materials directly to us. All CSL applications are processed through the designated professor. Students of all other law schools should mail one application packet that includes a cover letter, resume, and transcript (an unofficial version is acceptable). Address your one application packet as shown below:

Attn: Bryan Crocker / Mason Nowaski

Any student interested in an externship (earning academic credit) during the summer must follow the summer internship application process noted on this page.
